Our Amazon Bookstore for Primary Source Material

Our purpose is to provide a central reference point that can become the primary resource tool for the serious ACIM student. It is our belief that each student will find his or her own perfect path by going within and asking for guidance from the Holy Spirit. All material and advice needs to be questioned by the seeker. Just because the information comes from an “expert,” it does not mean it is correct or right for you. This is why we encourage reading source material instead of relying upon some person’s opinion that may be many times removed from the original source. If you cannot directly understand the source material by yourself, go to the next closest material that you can understand. This is why A Course in Miracles for Dummies format consists of both an annotated version of the text followed by a separate  note for each text paragraph. The annotated version of the text assists in clarifying obscure  references. The notes following each paragraph are designed to amplify the richness of the text passage while referencing the actual source material on which the comment is based..

As we said earlier, if possible, always go to the material that is closest to the source. Besides ACIM, we would encourage students to review the following materials that also claim to be “channeled” by the historical entity that we commonly refer to as Jesus.  All three of these “channeled” materials appear to be consistent with the material that was transcribed by Helen Schucman and became known as A Course in Miracles. They clarify, expand and enrich a student's understanding of the principles taught by ACIM.

A Course in Miracles:Combined Volume   We would suggest the 2nd edition or higher that is published by the Foundational for Inner Peace. Be sure to get the combined version that includes the Text, Workbook and the Manual for Teachers. The Workbook should be viewed as integral part of the Course.  The 2nd Edition includes a similar numbering system that was utilized in ACIM for Dummies and is easy to cross reference.

Journey Beyond Words (Miracle Studies Book) by Brent A. Haskell (Aug 1994)

The Other Voice: A Companion to the Text of The Course Chapters 1-15 (Miracles Studies Book) by Brent A. Haskell (Jun 1998)
Both of these “channeled” books, Journey Beyond Words and The Other Voice: A Companion to the Text of The Course Chapters 1-15  by Brent A. Haskell pivot off A Course In Miracles and clarify the text.

The Way of Mastery by the Shanti Christo Foundation (2004). Although this “ channeled” material does not directly pivot off of A Course In Miracles it is by far easier to read and simpler to understand. ACIM is often written in the negative and on multiple levels. For the student that is having a difficult time comprehending the ACIM text, The Way of Mastery's material will provide valuable insight on the course. The Way of Mastery offers a more grounded approach to our world of perception. It offers practical applications of the course without the unique language and psychological background that is found in A Course in MiraclesThe Way of Mastery can be ordered through our Amazon book store but we would suggest the you consider ordering it directly from the publisher since it may be less expensive than through Amazon. Below is a direct link to the Shanti Christo foundation bookstore.
